NetDev announces new partnership with Kapsch CarrierCom. Partnership will enhance delivery capabilities for next-generation IN applications.

NetDev Ltd, a leading independent software vendor (ISV) for telecoms service providers, today announced a new partnership with Kapsch CarrierCom. The family-owned Austrian company is one of Europe’s leading systems integrators, specialising in voice and data communications systems for fixed and mobile network providers.

The partnership will add NetDev’s application capabilities to the Kapsch CarrierCom portfolio and support Next Generation IN Migration efforts in service providers across the European region. Applications based on NetDev’s Core Intelligence Engine include Virtual Private Network, Number Translation and Conferencing.

NetDev’s CIE also creates the basis for developing further innovative services. CIE enables service providers to extend functionality with new services and through the creation of compelling mashup applications. The CIE suite is available for immediate deployment with service providers offering hosted services to enterprises and other partners. It includes a comprehensive RESTful web services API, allowing service providers to offer simple, cost-effective mashup capabilities to their partners and customers.

Today, Kapsch has a strong presence in Eastern and Southeastern Europe as part of its ‘follow the customer’ strategy and Kapsch recently established offices in Belarus and Macedonia. The partnership will extend NetDev’s geographical reach and ensure that Kapsch CarrierCom’s customers have access to state-of-the-art NGIN solutions.
